3-Day Battles: Takahashi vs Plushenko “Moonlight Sonata”

. 20 Jul 2013 . Sportfolio Editor .

Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata is one of the most overused musics in Figure Skating, currently with 19 entries in our routines database, but which one of these great champions used it better?

Plushenko skated to “Moonlight Sonata” in a particularly complicated 2004-2005 season, which he ended withdrawing from the World Championships with a groin injury. Takahashi on the other hand, used “Moonlight Sonata” in the second half of the 2012-2013 season, and it didn’t bring him much luck either since he missed the podium at the Four Continents and World Championships.

Over the next three days you can tells us which interpretation you prefer by voting on our poll, and don’t forget to tell your friends to vote too!
